History

CyberOne was unveiled by Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Chinese consumer electronics giant Xiaomi at a company event in Beijing in 2022.

The humanoid is the newest member of Xiaomi's Cyber series, joining quadruped robots CyberDog and CyberDog 2.

CyberOne is equipped with high power density actuators. According to the company, each upper limb actuators weighs only 500 grams with a rated output torque of up to 30 Nm. These custom motors allow the humanoid to walk and balance over rough terrain. The robot can also detect human faces, identify human emotions, and create 3D maps of its environment. Xiaomi Robotics Lab will continue researching and developing new capabilities for the robot.
